Department of Critical Care Medicine is an ultra-modern unit delivering evidence-based, high-class yet affordable critical care. It is also an academic centre of excellence in critical care training. Infrastructure wise, we have 114 (85 operational at present) beds spread over 60000 square feet dedicated to critical care. It is well equipped with ultramodern technology and is capable of delivering latest & technologically most advanced services like extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), pumplesss extra-corporeal lung assist (PECLA), Continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT), Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring & Advanced cardiac output based hemodynamic monitoring. We also have a separate solid organ transplant critical care unit.

We have a team of full time experienced and qualified consultants providing round the clock on site care. They are ably supported by fellows in training & registrars. We boast of having one of the finest nursing staff. Many of them are BLS, ACLS & ACCN (Advanced Critical Care Nursing) certified. Equal emphasis is placed on training and expertise of paramedical staff especially respiratory therapy.

Department of Emergency Medicine at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, spread over 7000 sq. Ft. offers various life saving treatments. With separate bays for cardiac, trauma, neurology, medicine and surgery patients, the 23 bedded department deals with wide spectrum of medical emergencies.

We are equipped with state of art equipments including LUCAS chest compression system, point of care machine for various biomarkers, bedside ultrasound and mechanical ventilators. We have well equipped fleet of EMS ambulances which gives services within Pune and outside.

We have a team of experienced and well qualified full time consultants who provide round the clock on site emergency medicine services. The team is ably supported by resident doctors in training, qualified and enthusiastic nursing staff and health care workers.
